Stavanger.jpg

Cool street art, cute wooden houses, and long, pleasant walks along white sandy beaches. Stavanger is full of surprises.  It is also one of the oldest.  In the Viking Age, Stavanger was a center of power.  We will be based in Stavanger for the first few days of our tour.  A private guided tour will introduce us to this vibrant, colorful and quintessentially Norwegian city.   Free time after the tour allows you to take in an optional walking Art Tour. The combination of old, traditional, wooden houses and progressive street art, by both Norwegian and international street artists, makes the city of Stavanger unique.

Kristiansand.jpg

Kristiansand, is where Norwegians go for their summer holidays, and we will spend half of our time here.  The city center fits within one square kilometer, so it's easy to get around.  Art and Shopping abound in this vibrant port city.  Choose your own adventure on our free day to tour.

Visit Posebyen, the old part of town with a charming, large connected collection of wooden buildings.

Visit Fiskebrygga, a vibrant fishmarket at the docks and dine at Reinhartsen, where they served homemade fishcakes and the "pirate burger"

Visit Odderoya Island for beautiful scenic walks or visit the city beach for some relaxation.
